Christopher Mark Jones
Christopher Mark Jones speaks five languages and has been a professional basketball player and French teacher as well as a singer/songwriter. Since 2010 he has released four albums of new songs—Heartland Variations (2010), Suburban 2-Step (2012), Atlantica (2014), Incantations (2017) and a re-mastered version of No More Range to Roam (1978). His early musical itinerary included busking in Paris, the English folk club circuit, tours of Denmark and Holland, UK and European folk festivals, and radio appearances in London, followed by Boston-area clubs during an electric period. These days he enjoys playing festivals, clubs, small concert series, and house concerts in formats varying from solo to full band, but always with an emphasis on story-driven lyrics and varied textures and rhythms. Cisco Kid
In September of 2015, drummer Marc Martinka started putting together a live to support his recent solo album, River Rat. In order to do that, he called on former bandmates Brian Swed, Richard Stanley, and Martin Connolly. This iteration of the band soon realized that they were on to something bigger than the River Rat material, as they quickly began to develop new material and work up their own unique sound. As fall progressed to winter, the foursome rounded out their line up with vocalist Nick Guckert (also of My Friday Slacks) and keyboardist Andrew Van Treeck, finalizing the Cisco Kid lineup. From there the band started rehearsing for their first show at Mr. Small's Funhouse Bar. Since their first public performance on April 1, the band has cut their first original set of demos, and is now currently in the throes of production for their first full length release. Dan Getkin and the Twelve Six
Dan Getkin fronts a rocking alternative-country group from Pittsburgh, joined by Bill Brandt (guitar), Alex Herd (bass), Eddan Sparks (drums), and Jake Troxell (keys).
