Drawn to music at an early age, Drew is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, possessing an attentive and sensitive musical ear, enabling him to zero in on the details of a song or phrase and shape it into something memorable. He has worked with saxophonist Matt Corey (4- time College Entertainer of the year) at colleges and festivals, played and recorded with Grammy Award winning artist Billy Beck, Tony Award winning artist Billy Porter, and re-tracked Iceberg Records (American Idol contestant) artist Sarah Burgess’ material for use during her subsequent Euro Tour, as well as collaborating with her on the 'Runaway Project.' In addition to recording tracks for his first solo release "Possibility" and studying at Berklee Online, Drew’s current project is to simply play and sing directly to the people as he draws from an eclectic set list that appeals to young and old. Eclectic Acoustics is a dynamic acoustic duo located in Pittsburgh, PA that plays an eclectic set list of popular cover songs from the 70's through today's top hits. The duo shines with their vocal harmonies, energetic performance and has been labeled as Pittsburgh’s most aggressive acoustic act. Founded in July of 2016 the duo consists of professional musicians who have recorded and toured extensively in previous projects. Currently, the duo is in rotation at 34+ venues throughout the Pittsburgh, Ohio, and West Virginia areas including Casinos, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Pubs, and Eateries. Eleanor Walrus creates a show that pays tribute to the incredible repertoire of The Beatles while "re-imagining" these timeless classics, enhancing them even further. Their shows have a familiarity that transcends generations and appeals to listeners of all ages. Each of the band's performances has been widely heralded by the audience, leaving them searching to find the next Eleanor Walrus show. Coming together for the first time as a four piece band in 2016, their primary goal was to present songs from the Beatles psychedelic era onward, bringing together musical sensibilities from many genres including jazz and rock & roll, as well as jamband. In the spirit of the Beatles experimental approach, they will from time to time change some of the arrangements and instrumentation, adding extra solos, extending certain songs into improvised jams, and creatively incorporating different sounds and effects. Always with a great love and appreciation for the Beatles brilliant songwriting, while reflecting their enjoyment of juxtaposing disparate elements and creating something a little off the beaten path.
