Pierce Dipner and the Shades of Blue
Pierce Dipner (Guitar Vocals) - Pierce Dipner(16) has performed nationally and internationally at many major festivals including the WYEP Summer Music Festival, Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival, Tall City Blues Fest (Midland TX), Kitchener Blues Festival (Ontario Canada), and many more. 2017 and 2019 Blues Society of Western PA youth rep at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN. He has also done charity events such as Eugene Morgan's Blues for Food and the Blues Foundations Generation Blues Fundraiser (alongside many Grammy nominated and winning musicians) in Memphis TN. Pierce is also a featured artist in the Pittsburgh International Airport’s Performing Arts Series and a WYEP Reimagination Project participant. Arnold Stagger (Bass) - Arnold has been playing bass for almost 50 years, and is one of the most respected bassists in Pittsburgh. Arnold has also played nationally and in the Caribbean, while in Memphis for the International Blues Challenge his band won 3rd place in the finals. He has performed on many studio recordings, and hosts open mics throughout Western PA. Kevin Hindes (Drums) - Kevin is one of Pittsburgh's premier Jazz drummers. He started gigging in high school and has also player nationally and internationally with many Jazz musicians, such as Spider Rondinelli, Maureen and David Budway, and Kenny Blake. He also played on a European tour opening for Jack Johnson, drumming for Donavon Frankenreiter. While with Donavon, he played at many high profile events such as New Orleans Jazz Festival and Coachella. Ples Jones
An electronic music producer and house artist from Pittsburgh, Ples Jones is known to work with megaminds in the industry including Stonebridge, Crystal Waters and more. Jones took his respect, admiration and deep passion for music from Pittsburgh to Washington DC, where things really started to heat up for his career. Ples Jones was privileged to learn from some of the best underground producers in the business. He then took what he learned from these legends and made his way back to the Steel City to perfect his craft. Ples Jones has performed at Winter Music Conference,, earning him a standing ovation from over 2,000 WMC attendees and music industry peers – this was the turn for the talented artist, and his talent was only going to continue to rise. Ras Prophet
Ras Prophet has performed extensively in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia, since 1989. The band has shared the stage with a roster of reggae superstars, including concerts with Maxi Priest, Shabba Ranks, Shaggy, Aswad, Lucky Dube, Barrington Levy John Holt, Inner Circle, Eek-a-Mouse, Burning Spear, Yellowman, Andrew Tosh, Supercat, Junior Reid, Rusted Root and the Ark Band. The band has performed at dozens of colleges and universities in three states in addition to numerous community, arts and cultural festivals ranging from Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Arts Festival and the Mahoning County (OH) Rib Cook-Off to the University of Ohio's Reggaefest, the Jamaican Me Crazy Festival and the South Side Summer Street Spectacular. Ras Prophet was selected as the band to perform at the Pittsburgh Steelers official citywide playoff pep rally in 2001 and Major League Baseball's All-Star Game. Ras Prophet’s independent release, “Feel the Fire,” has received air-play across the United States and in more than a half-dozen countries. Not your typical Acoustic TRIO act. We are Pittsburgh's Best an Acoustic Rock TRIO. RTC brings you a different kind sound with a full sound with 3 part harmonies with a huge a variety of music incl. contemporary hits and Modern and Classic rock. There isnt a show in town like ours. Well just who is Right TurnClyde ?? Well for starters it's been a cast of real characters that have been great to play with (and boy do we bring the party !!!) Now we are not your typical acoustic act ... We're Pittsburgh's best Acoustic Rock Trio. .. We work hard to bring you a different kind of full sound with vocals and harmonies. While we have a large selection of music, they also like to take requests (except Free Bird or Mustang Sally.. just don't ) but we do like to make it a more personal experience for their crowd. Right TurnClyde has been kicking the door down at every venue they've played (dang that sounds cool) They have learned a thing or two by playing a gazillion open mic nights, playing in some of the areas hottest bands. Rock Jazz
Rock Jazz is a trio base in Slippery Rock. Bass, guitar and violin, we play jazz standards from the last century, gypsy jazz and latin. We are members of the Greater Pgh Arts Council and frequently play at the Pittsburgh Inl Airport. Rose Winston
Rose Winston hand-crafts moody melodies and beats for your easy listening pleasure. In Quartz, her new debut solo album, synthesizers, vocals, and piano lushly weave together over eight tracks. This narrative and intimate album plays upon electronic, alternative, nujazz and lofi genres. Using various aliases, Rose Winston has been composing, producing and performing music for projects over the last fifteen years, demonstrating a unique talent for creating atmosphere and bringing unexpected sounds together. Her influences span from 90's dance to experimental genres, meeting somewhere within the current pop sensibility.
