Lofi has been a WYEP featured artist, played on the WDVE coffee house twice, and has been played on the X. Rose Winston
Rose Winston hand-crafts moody melodies and beats for your easy listening pleasure. In Quartz, her new debut solo album, synthesizers, vocals, and piano lushly weave together over eight tracks. This narrative and intimate album plays upon electronic, alternative, nujazz and lofi genres. Using various aliases, Rose Winston has been composing, producing and performing music for projects over the last fifteen years, demonstrating a unique talent for creating atmosphere and bringing unexpected sounds together. Her influences span from 90's dance to experimental genres, meeting somewhere within the current pop sensibility. STOV is the official shortcut of the name Stovallian, who is also known as Gene Stovall. STOV is an artist of many genres and is a man style and taste. STOV is best known for the album 2+2=5: Gene Stovall vs Geno Jive, available on iTunes and all other media sites. STOV is also works professionally as a vocalist, DJ, and sound tech that sings and does sound work for corporate events and weddings with the Bachelor Boys Band, 3 Rivers Entertainment, and Stovallian Love Cake. STOV is also a quality lyricist and performs in the Hip Hop group Alien Facez with longtime friend and co-founder Thelonious Stretch (David Hughes). The Alien Facez Mixtape "Erase The World" will release publicly in April 2017. Tim Vitullo
Tim Vitullo is a bit different. A promising singer, guitarist, and songwriter, Vitullo decided to return home to both Pittsburgh, PA and his blues influences to record "Josephine & Assorted Train Songs," his debut studio LP. This comes after poising himself as an exciting, young jazz artist in State College, PA with the release of "This is the Thing!" in 2012. With his latest statement, Vitullo mixes the best of his blues, rock, and pop influences to present a dozen examples of "adult alternative album rock." Songs like “Josephine” are concise and accessible with a smooth delivery and a sly sense of humor. Ballads “Letters” and “A Different Kind of Blue” are earnest experiments in confessional-style songwriting flanked by dense vocal and horn arrangements. Further, burners “Interstate Jesus,” “Black & White Wonderful,” and “Pretty Good” flash the guitar prowess that has been Vitullo’s calling card since his earliest musical ventures. "Josephine & Assorted Train Songs" was produced, engineered, and mixed by singer/songwriter and producer Steven Foxbury in Pittsburgh, PA.
